United States - requirement for Uniform Commercial Code

Hi guys,

Have you came across "Uniform Commercial Code" as one of the requirements on Sales & Distribution in United States?

I was told by my key user that it is one of the very important data in US sales transactions and need to be recorded and to be printed on the order confirmation

In your experience, do you customize any of the fields to accommodate the UCC code in the master/transactional data?

I was just wondering if it's so important, why I couldnt find anybody mentioning about it on SDN, or why there's no SAP delivered template/solution.

Hii,

You can achieve the same by identifying and maintaining some field in Customer master with logic in Invoice smartform (output)

if customer county is US then that field will be displayed in smartform

For example you can use the Location number field in customer master control data tab.
