NWDS variants

I am trying to download Netweaver Developer studio 2.0. In service market place, I find two variants of NWDS downloads.

1.

Installations and Upgrades -> SAP NetWeaver -> SAP NETWEAVER" SAP NETWEAVER 04

SAP NETWEAVER 04

• Installation and Upgrade

• AIX

• Oracle

51030724_15 NW04 SR1 SAP NW DEVELOPER STUDIO 2.0 - 01.02.2005

2.

SAP NETWEAVER 04

• Installation and Upgrade

• Windows Server

• Oracle

51031849_4 NW04 SR1 SAP NW DEVELOPER STUDIO 2.0 - 07.06.2006

Also, I see 51030724_15 in Windows Server category too?

what is the difference between these two? Does this mean variant 1 if my SAP WAS is on AIX and variant 2 if my WAS is on Windows Server?

Is NWDS 2.0 O/S dependent?

My WAS is on AIX and my desktop is Window XP Professional SP2.

Which of the above objects should I download in order to install NWDS2.0 in my desktop? Should I install any RDBMS before installing NWDS?

What are the prerequisite sofware I need to install before installing NWDS?

and download any java stack

(it comes with NDWS for windows)

you can go for java 2004 if you have NW 2004

of java 2004s if you have NW 2004s
