One Purchase Order, put away of material in different bins

Hi

Is below possible, if yes please help on how

PO - 10 PCS

TR got created when posted GR for 10 PCS

now we need to place these 10 PCS in diff bins not in one bin, how we can do this , please help

Hi

In the WM 2 view of the material master you could set the LE qty as say 5 EA = B1

Assuming your UOM is EA nad you st unit tyoe is B1

This will always split this material in to 5 and therefroe this would go to 2 bins.

N.B. This will always happen for this material if you make the settings!!

all kinds of materials are stored in BIN so we not able to give LE data in material master

i am planning like this, please help me any implications if any

1. PO created

2. GR is posted

3. no TR/TO. Now stock is in 902

4. we can do bin to bin tracfer, from 902 to Bins

this will allow to place stock of required quantity to any number of bins

will this okie?

Business randomly choose bins and there is high chances like placing different materials in diff bins

bin capacity checks also we not able to put in as we not sure which material will be out in which bin

Create TO against above TR for quantiry and desired Detination bin [ 4 PCS]

Create TO against above TR for quantiry and desired Detination bin [6 PCS]

creating required number of To's agains TR in GR will work isnt it

I just tested and found

we can create TO's as per need

If Material need to be put away to 3 destination bins

create 3 TO's with reference to TR [Generated during TR]

Hi Sasi,

There is two options to place the each quantity in one bin

Option 1: Define Maximum Bin Weight (capacity) = Single Unit (PC) then create GR >TR> TO, Then system will suggest you place each qty in each bin

Option 2: Activate Storage Unit Management, map 1 qty to 1 storage unit, maintain the capacity chek for the same maintain master data in the material master. then take the GR for that material, system will allow you place the each qty in one bin.

for the 10 Qty only one TR and one TO will create, but the stock placement in different bins.

based on the capacity chek system will propose different dins for each quantity.

In the plant we have not enabled capacity checks as different materials will be placed in one BIN

When goods received person physically goes and checks what are all bins are empty or materials can be placed

this is how he ends up placing goods in diffrent bins

Hi Reddy,

I'm sorry not telling capacity check at Plant level. i.e BIN capacity (Maximum Weight) that you can maintain at BIN level while createing bins. In a massway using LS10, for single BIN LS02N.
