Meta-Inf holds the language bundles and shared memory properties. Meta-Inf contents are specific to its associated project and not cross project applicable.
If you downloaded the Batch Manufacturing project back a few months you should see the language bundles and a few simple examples of Shared Memory. I am not sure whether there is a blog or other documents in the wiki.
