System error: the object US 123 has no relationships

Hi

Please guide me to handle the above subjected error message. In the fact same message, user got while carrying out sourcing. The same error i got when i was executing the transaction BBP_PD. So please guide me.

Diagnosis

The system is supposed to read the attributes of the object &1 &2. However, no attributes are maintainable for this object, and it is not assigned to a position or organizational unit.

System response

It is not possible to read the attributes.

Procedure

If you are dealing with a system user (object type US), relate the user to a position (or central person).

Hello Pratap,

Check if the user is assiged to Org structure in transaction PPOMA_BBP. The reported error is prompted when the user is not in the org structure. You can assign the user to the org structure by running the

transaction Users_Gen

-> Select Copy User and Employee Data fromTemplate.

-> Create Users from Existing SU01 Users -> click on Execute Action

-> Enter the Organizational Id under which You will require the user to be assigned

-> click on Continue.

The above steps would assign the user in the org structure. You should not see the error once the user is in the Org structure.
