Shelf Exp Date of Batch

Dear all,

SAP allows me to post goods even shelf life exp. date of batch is old.

I want SAP to warns if the shelf exp. date is old.

How can I do it?

Dear Lakshmipathi,

I changed OVM1 as "E" for VL-203.

But system still allows me to post goods.

Is there any suggestion?

How the batches are entered in delivery? Is it by batch search strategy? If so, then check the batch search strategy selection criteria in VCH2. You may need to modify the settings maintained in it. By this way, the selection of batches is restricted during delivery creation iteself, instead of going upto post goods issue.
