MM-SUS: User for self-registration

Dear experts,

We are setting up both MM-SUS and Supplier Qualification.

We are on SRM7 and ECC6 EhP 4.

SUS, ROS and EBP in the same SRM Client.

One thing is not clear to me though.

According to the SUS configuration guide we require a service user for self-registration

With roles SAP_BC_BASIS_MONITORING and /SAPSRM/SUS_ADMIN_SUPPLIER

and service /SAP/BC/BSP/SAP/SUS_SELFREG

According to the ROS configuration guide we require a service user for self-registration

With roles SAP_EC_BBP_CREATEUSER and SAP_EC_BBP_CREATEVENDOR

and service /SAP/BC/BSP/SAP/ROS_SELF_REG

The difference between these two are not very clear to me.

Can anyone explain to me what the difference is between these two?

Hi Djurick,

Please find the response below:

According to the SUS configuration guide we require a service user for self-registration

With roles SAP_BC_BASIS_MONITORING and /SAPSRM/SUS_ADMIN_SUPPLIER

and service /SAP/BC/BSP/SAP/SUS_SELFREG

These roles are given because the admin user in SUS will create further contact persons for his company after he has successfully registered himself

According to the ROS configuration guide we require a service user for self-registration

With roles SAP_EC_BBP_CREATEUSER and SAP_EC_BBP_CREATEVENDOR

and service /SAP/BC/BSP/SAP/ROS_SELF_REG

These roles are given because any anonymous user who wishes to register as a supplier for the organisation will be treated as a vendor and a user

Hi question for you, where are you assigning these roles? Which system?

Thanks

The roles relevant for SUS need to be assigned to SUS Service User in the SUS System and the Roles relevant for the ROS need to assigned to the service user in the ROS system.

Thanks
