MDM3.0 - mdc client requirements for r/3 systems

Per the MDM3.0 Master Guide, p.16, there are certain software requirements for R/3 clients to an mdm server. Are there no min sp levels for R/3 4.6C systems? None are listed.

Also, as far as the XI Addon2.0 (APPINT200_620) - this only shows as applying to R3E 4.7 (not 4.6C or ECC5.0). I'm just trying to understand this as well - I assume it's built into the ECC5.0 clients, and not applicable w/ the older 4.6c systems??

Hello Ben,

We do not know about any restrictions reg. SP levels for R/3 4.6C. So, you can start with any SP level. Of course, SAP recommends to use the latest one.

The XI Add-On 2.0 is used for proxies.

• In R/3 4.6C we have only IDocs, no proxies.

• With ECC 5.0 XI Add-On 2.0 is part of the basis.

=> Therefore it appears only for R/3 4.7.
