Hi Guys,
We are using SAP - 4.6 C system.
We have a requirement to create a customer out bound delivery for a corresponding customer Scheduling Agreement but affect should be similar to 301 movement type.
When we use 601 movement type - Material Document and corresponding Accounting Documents are created. This doesnt fulfill our requirement.
We tried to use 301 movement type to post an outbound Delivery and below is the error. Please advise a solution to fix this error. or an alternative approach to create an out bound delivery which should not post to an accounting document.
Error -
Update control of movement type incorrect (entry 301 X X _ L _ V)
Message no. M7 226
Diagnosis
The system could not find entry 301 X X _ L _ V in any of the movement type control tables.
Procedure
Cancel current processing.
Contact your system administrator.
Action to be taken by the system administrator
Check in Customizing for Inventory Management under Copy, Change Movement Types whether the entry is contained in the Update control view for the movement type.
If the entry is missing, proceed as follows:
u2022 For standard movement types, this means that the given process is not supported using the present data combination. Do not create any entries without prior arrangement with your SAP consultant. Otherwise, incorrect postings may result.
u2022 For customer-defined movement types (beginning with 9, X, Y, or Z), this may mean that they have not been fully defined. Delete the movement type and re-create it by copying a standard movement type.

Mahesh
Hello Mahesh,
In TCode OMJJ, check Account Modification (like VKA, VBR based on your transaction particularly of GBB) in account grouping of your M Type 301.
And also, the corresponding assignment of Account Modification with TCode OBYC.
Thanks & Regards

Hello,
No, is not possible.
Plant to plant allowed movement types are 641 and 647 (in SD).
My recomandation: you can easy set a plant-to-plant scenario, based on STO (see OSS note 498143).

I dont know what exactly you were trying to do. As you should be aware 301 movement type would be used to transfer the material from one plant to another plant, whereas, you had indicated that you were trying to do PGI for a customer.
thanks

Hi Lakshmipathi,
You are right, it is a Interplant scenario. But in our scenario, one plant is acting as a customer and other plant is acting as a Vendor. In our business case, we are maintaining a Customer Scheduling Agreement between 2 plants. So we would like to do PGI for a customer similar to 301 movement type
