Hi,
We did a portal sizing and got around 2000 SAPS as a result. But, how do we determine the number of portal server nodes required? How much should be the initial Java heap size? Quick Sizer tool just helps in determining the server hardware level details.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
Sham
I assume 2000 SAPS will be a combination of 2 CPU's and 25GB Memory as our landscape has 4 Cores 1.6 GHZ, 64 Gig memory = 3660 SAPS.
1 Server Node can serve about 200 users to 500 users depending on type of Transactions and heap always set 2 GB Heap for Portal, for a medium size landscape I would say at least 2 to 4 Server Nodes per instance.
Thanks
SM
