Hey together,
I have a simple question, but can't find a simple answer.
Which possibilities exists to create an interface between (/ to connect) a web-application and a SAP-ERP-system?
1. ITS - Internet Transaction Server
2. WAS - Web Application Server
3. ???
Are there any more?
thanks
P.Miller
Hi
The SLD System Landscape Directory and JCO connection(For Java based WAS) are used .
Kind Regards

Hi,
first of all, thank you for your answer... It's the correct direction
Perhaps I should particularize my topic a little bit. Let's discribe it like this:
In order to exculpate your Service Center, you want to authorize all customers to create, to change, to track, to cancel service notifications in ERP-System R/3 (-> Web Application, without a data base!).
What I want to know is, which general possibilities do I have to connect the two "systems".
Philipp
Hello Philipp,
generally speaking you have all the possibilities a R/3 system has to communicate:
- SAPGUI
- Brwoser via ITS
- Browser directly with WebAS
- RFC
- use of middleware or other interface technologies (ALE, XI, EDI, Batch-Input, etc.)
I think it's really depending on your concrete requirements which integration scenario will fit best.
