Skip Lots

Dear all,

I am checking raw material at the time of receipt from vendors.Here I am checking only 5 samples .For initial 30 lots or three months if there is no defect then I will skip testing material .Same material I am checking on line before usage in production .If any defect found in skipped lots then I have to do once again checking for all skipped lots.How to map this scenario.

Once the lot is skipped & Usage decision is taken you can not o back & re-valuate the Inspection lot .

One thing you can do is Once you found the defect on say assembly line go to QDL2----

>Enter Plant material & vendor

and change the quality level from skip to initial ( current data ->Next level>put first/initial level which is inspection

This will bring back next lot to stage initial .Existing lot can not be changed

Think over this solution !!
