SLCM - EP Content (Business Package) Compatability

Hello,

Our SLCM is deployed on NW 7.1 / EHP 4 / ERP 6.

SLCM : IS-PS-CA / 604 / 0002 / SAPK-60402INISPSCA / IS-PS-CA 604 Upgrade.

Now, in the EP Content area I could see two business packages as below:

BP IS HERST

BP_ERP5_HIGHER_EDU_RES

Which one we can use ? Kindly advice.

Hi Sankar,

The business package BP_ERP5_HIGHER_EDU_RES contains the older role and is obsolete now.

However if you are going with EhP4 for SLcM, there are two possible roles which you can use:

Student role(BPISHERST)

Advisor role(BPIS7HERAA)

I found the BP - BP IS HERST, but not the other one (BPIS7HERAA) you said. Where can I find it ?

Now I have 2 BPs to deploy as below:

1. BP_ERP5_HIGHER_EDU_RES

2. BP IS HERST

Hi Sankar,

You can find this in the SAP service market place(https://websmp208.sap-ag.de/support). Go to Software downloads -> Search for Software Downloads -> and in the search term enter BPIS7HER* .
