In some cases when a sales order is made for a material, the availability check shows the confirmed quantity but for a date in the future.
This is a regular problem around here since sometimes the deliveries dont show all the materials on the sales order.
If someone can tell why this happens and if this can be fix.
Like for example a material with stock that I check in MD04 and had no pending deliveries, the confirmation of the availability check of the delivery was set for tomorrow not right away.

Please check the following:
1. consult with your MM / PP consultant on how ATP was being configured in the syste.
2. during creation of sales order, check customer requested delivery date, it should be today or in future depending on customer demand. that will be the basis on when the delivery will take place.
3. check the material master under MRP tab and check if there is any value related to total replenishment lead time. this will be the basis on when will the materials will be procured.
4. check shipping point configuration related to pick/pack time workdays.
