Hi
I have JDBC Receiver. I need to update and also delete. Should I use two actions? Do I have to write querry at receiver side? As per my understanding we don't write querries at Receiver JDBC side?
Regards
You can use two actions one for update and other for delete by creating two different statement data structure in target side to take care. If you want to combine both then do stored procedure to achieve this. In this case, you use only one statement.

No u dont put any query in the receiver JDBC adapter.
Ur structure will be something like this(if u r using tables):
<MT>
<StatementName1>
<dbTableName action=u201DUPDATEu201D>
<table>Table1</table>
<access>
<col1>val1</col1>
</access>
<Key>
<col2>val2</col1>
</Key>
</dbTableName>
</StatementName1>
<StatementName2>
<dbTableName action=u201DDELETE">
<table>Table1</table>
<key1>
<col3>val3</col3>
</key1>
</dbTableName>
</StatementName2>
</MT>
in case u r using SP, u can refer the link already pointed above for creating structure.
You could use a stored procedure call from the receiver jdbc, or perform multiple actions by using the "XML SQL format" protocol. Check the help page below for more info
