Your log contains

Character converter active when first problem occurred

I have seen this happening when SAP is trying to convert characters for the printer and the printer does not have a valid character for that particular conversion.

You will need to troubleshoot which character is causing the problem and change the record.

Hi Ashish & Imtiaz,

Thanx guys for the prompt response..

If i take print out of spool it works..

i havn't created any new printer..

entry of default printer is maintained in SU01

>Imtiaz ...Yes, even we have narrowed down to this and are checking the character code..

Any further updates are welcome..

Hi,

Have you marked "print immediate" option while giving print out using the properties tab.

If this checkbox is unchecked only spool will be generated, no print out.

Please verify this.

Thanks,

Hi,

You say : If i take print out of spool it works..

If i understand correctly, you are able to take printouts on your local network printer. If, Yes then you may have a mismatch for device type. I assume, your end user have different type of local network printer.

Check what is your printer hardware where it works and where it does not work.

thanks

Hello Sohal,

What happens when you Print the same spool directly using SP01 .. does this work ?

For printers with Access method G : Host Printer = __DEFAULT & Device Type = SWIN works well. So have you created this a new printer or it stopped working now.

Also, make a entry for default printer in SU01 for the user, i had seen a bug for one sap system not remembering release/SP level.

thanks
