Hi
If we were to upgrade from R/3 4.5b to the current ECC/NW version on AS/400 (iSeries, etc) would it be correct to assume that we would need to upgrade to 4.6c. run CPC conversion then upgrade to ECC 6.0 EHP4?
Thanks in Advance
Matt Milne
They would probably want to include the Unicode conversion in there as well.
Thanks Volker

Hi Matt,
that request to end up in unciode makes our further ideas even more efficient ...

Hi Matt,
unfortunately, yes ;-(
You remember the UABC92 class for the EBCDIC->ASCII CPC in Foster City ... this is still be needed for 4.5B customers ...
=> upgrade to 4.6C EBCDIC
=> EBCDIC->ASCII CPC
=> Upgrade 4.6C to 6.04
as this is pretty ugly, we had a few customers calling in to optimize this process. If you are interested we could talk on a few options offline.
