jcontrol and jlaunch exe path in startup framework

Hi

I'm converting a dual stack to the new 7.01 exe path (ie SYS\exe\run --> DEVBMGS00\exe and SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64).

I've changed the start and instance profiles to reflect this change but when I try to start the instance the JAVA stack fails to start as it's still looking for the jlaunch in the SYS\exe\run directory (from the dev* trace file).

Are the paths also stored in some properties or bootstrap file??

Regards

Doug

Hi,

You can take reference of this SAP Note [1104735|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1104735] and adjust the things accordingly. SAP Note 1104735 contains detailed description.

Run directory also gets stored in environmental variables (in case of windows).

Hi Rajneesh

I've modified the environment variables as well.

When I do a version information in the MMC, they also point to the modified path as well.

check the developer trace (jcontrol & server node) & look for from where its reading the SYS/exe path.
