Shipment Execution Shipment Start date = Delivery Actual GI

Our business process is to complete the delivery with Actual GI and Post Goods Issue.

Then we create a shipment.

If using VT01N, the system does not copy the Actual GI date to the Execution Shipment start date.

if using VT04 collective, user exit was used to make this copy happen.

Problem is that if VT01N is used, then the wrong date is brought in to the Shipment Execute date which is typically the day after but can be several days later.

Is there no configuration that allows me to choose the date the Actual GI date to copy into the Shipment Execute date?

The shipment type is configured with Copy Routine 12 which consists of 1,2 and 8. 8 has the deadlines so a customer routine is necessary to populate the Actual GI is copied as desired.
