Is RPCM(Rich Product Content Management) different from PCM(Product Catalog Management)? If yes, how?

MDM uses the term RPCM for PCM.
Lets have a look at the definition of RPCM.
Targets the requirements of rich product content management and cross-media catalog publishing. It allows you to consolidate, centrally manage, and publish disparate product dataacross the enterprise and between trading partners.
