How to change or assign new number range to condition records

Dear Experts,

Good day .After we did client copy from production to QAS all number ranges over lapping.

If I try to create new condition record I am getting below message.

Express document "update was terminated " recieved from author "xxxxxxxx".

So i want to change the current running number.

Would appreciate if you could send some advice on this?

I have checked with my basis guy, he had sugget me to change the running number.So i need to change condition records running number.

I have taken help from my Basis consultant and resolved the issue.
