Basis Component Upgrade

Hello,

Our development team is testing some functionalities and require information to know if we can upgrade

the R/3 4.6C system basis component from SAPKB46CXX to SAPKB46DXX.

Presently the basis component is at SAPKB46C53.Let us know if this is

possible and if not how we can achieve it?

Also we have R/3 4.7 system on basis release SAPKB620XX which require

to be upgraded to relaese SAPKB640XX.

Please suggest what is the best option to achieve this and if possible

what documents and information is available?

Hi,

You need release upgrade if you want to upgrade from 4.6C basis componet to 4.7D b asis componet.

or 6.20 basis componet to 6.40 basis componet. It is complete big upgrade project.
