We are getting ready to implenet a POC of TDMS. For some reason, the project manager does not want to scramble any sensitive data and is pushing instead for us to create custom table auth groups in order to keep certain users from seeing certain fields in the LFBK and LFA1 tables. SInce these are SAP delivered tables, I am hesitant to go this route, especially since they are talking about just doing it in the QA system. That means the table groups will be different in QA and Prod.
Is it common to implement TDMS without scrambling sensitive data? Ot to change table auth groups in one system and not in another?
Thanks
Bobbi
Is it common to implement TDMS without scrambling sensitive data? => This depends on the customer situation , if you feel that you have very sensitive data in sender system and do not want to expose this data to users in receiver system , then for sure scrambling is the way else leave it .
Or to change table auth groups in one system and not in another?=> I do not understand the need of doing this , can you elaborate a bit more .
