VL74-No messages for initial processing exist

Hello All,

At the time of executing tcode VL74 i am getting the following message

No messages for initial processing exist

Message no. VN108

Could anyone please let me know what settings I need to maintain for the same, I have maintained the output type determination procedure and also maintained condition records for the same besides assigning output type in the required output procedure.

Hello Atul,

You need to check 2 things:

- In TCode NACE, Application: V6-Handling Units, your output type should be active for Multiple issuing in General Data tab,

- In TCode VL74 overview. the input parameters for processing mode should be 2 - Repeat processing which 1 by default

Thanks for your quick reply I just had a small query in another output type I have selected processing mode as option 1 and that executes but why do we need to select Option 2 for the same for this output type.

This may be b'coz

Processing Mode 1 is used when you are generation output for the first time or initial processing.

Processing Mode 2 is not for the first time, this can be due manual generation of output or initial automatic generation of output on saving the doc.
