Target hours in CAT2 shown as 8 hrs even on Public Holiday

Former Member

Dear Experts,

We have implemented HR module in ECC and also using ESS for Leave and

Time sheet booking.

For Time sheet we are using CAT2. We are facing a serious problem in CAT2

recently.

We have marked 12th April as public holiday in our organization. After

changing the Holilday calendar we have even re-generated the Work

Schedule for the entire duration. When we see the work schedule in

calendar view the day 12th April is marked as a public holiday.

However in CAT2 the target hours for this day is still 8 hrs. This should

be zero hours. For example in last financial year 26th January was a

public holiday and the target hours for that day was shown as zero. Even in this FY year, fixed holidays like 15th August is showing target hours zero. The issue is only with floating holidays. I have maintained the date for the floating holiday for this year. So what can be the issue?

Please help us to resolve this issue ASAP as we have already gone live,

and people are filling their timesheets already. Some have filled

working time for this holiday and there was no error or warning to stop

them u2013hence this will lead to serious trouble in reporting.

Thanks

Ipsita

Hello all,

I have the same issue than Rajnesh. Could you find a solution?

I have check all points from you, and I have check as well, that the centre related to employee in infotype 315 has the right calendar, and the calendar in SCAL transaction has customized all holidays ok. But when we are going to refill the hours in CAT2, the column of this holiday is not modificable (grey colour) but the target hours are 8. So, when we save the times, we get a warning.

Thanks for your help.

Check your workschedule for ESG and PSG again and public holday class of floating holiday should be 1.

You can use substitution infotype 2003 to make planned hrs as 0.please check & let us know your findings

Go to infotype 7 for the employees for which you have made public holiday and check if you can see daytype 1 or public holiday class 1.

If you can see the 1 and still you are not able to see 0 target hours in cat2 for floating holidays, then you can use userexit catsp001 to meet your requirements for the floating holidays.
