combine few deliveri lines into one line in billing document

Is it possible to combine few delivery lines (same materials but differene batches) into one line in billing document.

Our customer don want to see few lines of the same material.

It is not feasible in standard SAP and any attempts to do so using ABAP lead to major headache with the document flow and cancellations / returns.

In my previous job, we made an attempt at such project, but it was scratched eventually.

Using the output to combine the lines is a good solution, providing you don't need to print the line item number. In fact, about 80% of al the non-standard requests may be handled in this way instead of trying to break the standard.

As per standard SAP, the line items could not combined.

and Logically it should not be combined.

In our organisation, we deal with similar product and in our output smart form program, we ADD all the batch quantities of a product and gets printed in the invoice.
