PPM 5.0 : SM59 Configuration

Hello ,

I'm trying to configure PPM 5.0 after the fresh install . From the Config document ( OSS#1411953 ) , I need to define SM59 type H to the same backend system . In order to define HTTP connection I need to provide the service and Parth prefix . I assume the service the HTTP ICM Port .. But does anyone know what is the Parth prefix needs to defined ... Also for HTTPS connection , What is the typical ID is used to authentication .. pls advise .

SM59/Aliases such as SAP_cProjects,SAP_RPM,SAP_BS_FND and SAP_BW

Hi,

hm, this is more a sys admin question than a PPM question. For our test system, the "Path Prefix" is simply left blank. The "Service No." is just the port number used for HTTP / HTTPS access.

Under "Logon & Security" for HTTPS:

- Logon with User: Choose "SAP RFC Logon"

- Logon with Ticket: Do Not Send Logon Ticket

- Security Options: SSL Active

Thanks Florian . Today I had opportunity to test the RFC . They Just need to defined as you said ..and RFCs are working fine .
