Hi There!!
I am in process of updating support patches for our new server.
I am running into a problem
it says!!
OCS package SAPKIPYJ61 does not match the current
software component vector.
I have uploaded the required .car file through SPAM and it shows in the list as not imported.
when i select the file and click on queue it gives me that error.
further is says
PI_BASIS,2005_1_640 - NON Permitted release of add-on PI_BASIS installed.
please let me know how to do that and which file is missing.
its My SAP ERP 2004
windows 2003 standard edition
thanks
saurabh
Hello,

ok, this leads to an delta upgrade of the plugin
https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/821148
it might help if the note would be in the spam-info...
I am currently updating the Plugins
The requirement for SAPKIPYJ61 is PI_BASIS, 2005_1_640 ???
How can the plugin have itself as requirement?
How can i solve this?

Hi saurabh
there definitely problem with the prerequisites of patch PI_Basis. Just go in spam.
select all support patch.
Click on display
It will show u the list of all support patches which are installed in ur system. u can find there the prerequisite of SAPKIPYJ61.All the prerequisites should match first when u r going to apply a patch

Hi saurabh,
There are few things you should do before applying SP stack:
1. Check the side effects
2. Interdependency
Which SP stack are you applying? Have you downloaded the correct SPs for all add-ons.
It seems you are trying to apply some support packs where it needs certain level of support packs for PI_BASIS>
Please check that the PI_BASIS support packs are applied in a sequence.
Hope it helps.
