No active update server available (context = :H:)

Hi Experts,

I am getting the below error in my system.

11:25:11 BTC 013 010 BATCH_EHS R0 O No active update server available (context = :H:)

11:25:11 BTC 013 010 BATCH_EHS D0 1 Transaction Canceled 15 017 ( :H: )

Its occurring only for the job EHS_REPORT_SHIPPING_RCVDEVEN run under user BATCH_EHS , its a event triggered job.

I checked that update processes are free and available.

The update server is active in SM14 and so is update.

What else could be the reason for this message?

has any body faced this before?

Check SAP note 51234.

Check if that is looking for a particular application server.

In that case this issue will occur otherwise there is no chance of this error.

Hi Ameya,

Check for any missing UPD processes on individual app server on SM51.. Also in t-code SM61 job scheduler for this executing server...

Hi All,

There is no application server , the job is running on the CI .

In the trace also i could not find any more details except this

Its an event triggered job , it starts after below event is triggered

SAP_START_EHS_RDO_EVENTHANDLER

Can something there be wrong with the report or event handler is looking for wrong server?

Hi Ameya,

Plesae make sure Update server is active state in SM13.

Goto SM13->Click Administration->Click Server tab->Check status.

Try to find out SM21 logs & SM37 job logs , when error occurrs.
