hi,
I need to install sab webas. There are licensing issues involved in it. Please someone guide me regarding those licensing issues.
Regards,
Bob
hi,
When you first install a J2EE-only installation of the SAP Web AS, you get a temporary license which you work with. You then have to apply for a permanent license from SAP and install it.
If your permanent license has expired, as a short term measure you can install a temporary license.
In the visual administrator choose Server 0 -> Services -> Licensing Adapter. Then choose tab page Runtime ->General and Install subsequent temporary license.
This is valid for 28 days. By then you should have installed a permanent license again.

Hi Bob,
The following is a good starting point also for license key information:
http://service.sap.com/licensekey -> mySAP Business Suite ->
License Keys for SAP Systems (Adobe PDF)
