Hello,

In the extended scenario the 'leading' PO is the 'local' PO in SRM. PO text and internal notes are not transferred to the backend system because the PO is changed and ordered in EBP only. This is the standard behaviour.

As the backend needs a PO as basis for confirmation and invoice, we replicate the SRM PO to backend but only to the extend that is necessary for processing the ongoing steps. Therefore, not all data from SRM is replicated - even if there is more data available in some technical interfaces.

In standard you have to maintain some customizing settings maintained in the table BBPC_TXT_MAP_EXT. The system always checks for the customization and in the event if it is not available then the system simply maps the vendor text (ITXT) of the PO item to the Material PO text (F03) incase of material and Service Long Text (LLTX) incase of service in the backend PO.

If you do not maintain the customizing entries for text mapping in SPRO this would be only for non EHP4 (note 1424590).

Note that Text map from ERP 6.0 EHP4 onwards is done by table BBPC_TEXT_EXT. So if you are on ERP 6.0 EHP4 you should configure the SPRO to use this in your system.

SRM Server->Cross-Application Basic Settings->Text Mapping ->Text Mapping for Inbound and Outbound Texts.

The customizing needs to be maintained here to map the texts between SRM and ERP.

You can also use BADIs BBP_LONGTEXT_BADI (SRM) and BBP_INBOUND_BADI (R/3).

I hope this information helps you.
