SAP EP SSO with Header Variables

Dear all,

I have a request to implement SAP EP SSO with possible Header Variables. Below is the business scanero.

1. user log on to SAP EP with url : http://hostname:port/irj/portl

2. it should redirect user to the revise proxy server to do the authenication

3. it should pass the url header variable to portal

4. once it's done, it will redirct user to the portal page again.

Please let me know what's the best way to implement it.

Hi,

I have read that document. Just have one question to ask is which external server it means? Does it mean a WAM product other than the Websphere server? Like apach or sap webdispatcher? If so, how does it needs to be configed in this external server?
