Hi Experts,
We are doing solution manager upgrade and facing the same issue as discribed in SAP note 1483283
When I try to run the command at OS level -
tp unlocksys SM9 pf=usr/sap/trans/bin/TP_DOMAIN_SM9.PFL
I am not sure what to do with command unlocksys as it is not taking default profile for TP-which profile we should use as we have not created any seperate directory, what would be the directory for DIR_PUT and what would be the default.tpp profile.
Solutions are highly appreciated.

Sabita
Hi
1)the correct command should be
tp unlocksys pf=(DIR_PUT)/bin/DEFAULT.TPP
2) Normally while upgrade you lock all the users except sap* and ddic, Unlocksys command will unlock the system means all allow the users to login
3)DIR_PUT is the root directory for R3 upgrade, this is the one where the temporary data required for the R/3 upgrade is stored. The logs written during the upgrade are also stored there.
plese check AL11 for the value of this parameter.
Thanks,
Jansi

Hi Shivjansi,
It is solved. I was giving command correct but somehow one slash was missed out.
DIR_PUT is defined as /usr/sap/SID/put but it was empty no bin or profile there. I guess it is used when we are doing upgrade and keep seperate upgrade directory. It is solution manager upgrade via SAINT so tp profile worked.
Thanks a lot.

Sabita
