SAP GUI security window on portal

Hi guys,

One of our portal roles allows opening SAP GUI session inside the web browser window.

One of our end user experience following problem:

When trying to open SAP GUI session security message appears:

SAP GUI Security

Execution of command line

/H/app.server/S/3200

was denied.

Do you know what might be a reason of this security message ? It occurs only for one user.

SAP GUI 7.20 patch level 4

Thanks for help !

This is a because of a restriction at the user's end. i.e. not enough permissions to execute commands Windows OS workstation. Nothing to do with the SAP setup at server end.

Contact your Windows admin to compare the windows user profile with other users. and assign a relevent role.

Haik

The user has chosen "Always Deny".

To change the Rule from SAPGui to Allow

->Customize Local Layout (Alt + F12) ->Options ->Security ->Security Settings

scroll to the bottom of the Security Rules

chose /H/app.server/S/3200 rule -> change Deny to Allow

Thanks for reply, one of the our user getting the same error but for BI Analyser.

So in SAP GUI--> Options --> Security Options --> I choose Allow. And error resolved.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Haik,

Indeed this seems to be a case because message appears even though security option has been set to 'always allow' in SAP GUI.

7.20 gui not supported anymore,

See note

Does the issue occur if the security settings are disabled temporarily?
