Replicating Vendors to SRM

I have configured a SAP SRM one-client system.

I have created an organizational unit for the vendors in transaction PPOCV_BBP / PPOOMV_BBP. The vendors is replicated to the SRM system, and assigned in the organizational unit. The vendors can be found in table BUT000, but not VENMAP.

When I try to create a shopping cart (describe requirement) and try to assign a vendor. The vendor list is empty.

Can you please help me to understand what may cause this problem?

Best Regards

Flemming

Hello Flemming,

Have you tried delete and retransfer again this Vendor?

It is necessary in order to fix it.

If there is some document created for this vendor, is necessary

archive it and just after that delete and retransfer the vendor.

These are the steps.:

1. It is not advisible to delete the Business Partners, when there are

any open documents created against thie Business Partner.

2. In case of a Vendor, if you want to prevent using this Vendor, you

can always lock this vendor in T.code BP using the Lock function under

Status tab.

3. In case if you have deleted the active Vendor in SRM, it affects the

Vendor replication in the absence of missing Bus.partner for that

Vendor.

4. As long as there is an entry the VENMAP table, this Vendor is not

updated in the subsequent run of BBPGETVD or BBP_VENDOR_SYNC.

5. To replicate this Vendor once again, we need to clear the VENMAP

table using FM BUP_BUPA_DELETE. Once the Vendor is deleted, it allows

to replicate the same Vendor once again from the backend to SRM.

6. As long as there are open documents exist in SRM for this Vendor, FM

BUP_BUPA_DELETE will not allow it to delete this Vendor, otherwise the

open documents can not be processed further. Hence, we need to

complete/close all the open

documents, before deleting the Vendor using FM BUP_BUPA_DELETE.

After we fix this vendor, we have to await it occurs again, and so

check or even debug the transfer to understand why the table VENMAP is

not updated correctly. This table is the first to be updated when vendor

is replicated.

Kind Regards,

Edel.
