import AE_init_append_data_ForRE.xml in CUP or ERM

Hi Forum,

I upgraded Access Control 5.3 SP13 to SP15.

I uploaded all initial system data files successfully.

but i didnot imported AE_init_append_data_ForRE.xml file

where i have to import? in CUP or ERM. and what is the use of this file?

Ram,

please do make sure you upload the one from the ERM folder (RE), not the one from the CUP folder (AE). The latter is deprectaed - look into the XML with Notepad, you'll see the remark.

Also this file is to be uploaded to CUP and not to ERM. This brings approval data of ERM into CUP.

Hi Ram,

Instead of using xml file "AE_init_append_data_ForRE.xml" Try to upload file -

''AE_init_append_data_RE.xml ''

This xml file has data for the CUP and ERM integration. For more information on CUP and ERM integration please consult

AC 5.3 configuration guide.

This is for ERM, this might be fore using the workflow fucntionality in ERM.

HI,

Exactly, This is for ERM. Once you import this file you will hav an option to choose two new request types for ERM.

RE_ROLE_APPROVAL

RE_ROLE_AUTO_APPROVAL

You need to import this on CUP.
