Dear All,
I have three installations to do on one machine with Windows 2008R2 64bit and Oracle 10.2.0.5: ERP, BW, CRM.
I've already finished ERP installation - I chose central instance and created a new SLD. Everything works fine.
Now my question: how to install BW and CRM if:
- ERP 6.0 (already installed as central instance) works on NetWeaver 7.01
- CRM 7.0 was delivered with NetWeaver 7.01
- BW 7.0 SR2 was delivered with NetWeaver 2004S SR2
should I install CRM as what kind of instance? and BW as another central instance? in which sequence?
thanks in advance
Hi,
Have you checked the installation guide. It is clearly mentioned there.
For BI, just install SAP Netweaver EHP1 and install BI_CONT on top of it. And CRM will be installed as CRM instance only.
Thanks
Sunny

I installed:
- ECC as central instance
- CRM - Central instance ABAP
- BW - NetWeaver Java, ABAP, EP, EP Core, BI

Hello Sir,
Here again it deals with your business needs. CRM can be used for complete customer management using contact center facilities as well as other facilities like order processing etc. available on that. If you want to use complete set of facilities of the CRM 7.0 you need to install that as seperate instance. Where as part of ECC6.0 has basic CRM content with it.
If you need complete BI to work in generating business crictial reports from your ECC and other systems you need to install that as seperate Instance.
Regards
Vivek
