Duplicate Serial Numbers

I have two sites that are in the same instance of ME with materials that use the same numbering patterns for their SFCs. If the operators release SFCs for the materials at the exact same time I end up with duplicate serial numbers within the instance.

I thought this wasn't possible?

The sites TRA06 and TRA07 both have the same serial numbers PH-110-REL, PH-111-REL, PH-112-REL, PH-113-REL.

It seems as though this topic has already been discussed here:

According to the information Mikhail provided only SFCs and SO Batch number must be unique in the application scope.

If I understand you correctly, you agree that SFCs cannot be duplicated within an instance of ME.

Right?

Yes, it seems to be a bug if you can produce the same SFCs. I would suggest opening a support ticket in this case.
