Need installation guide for CMIS

On SMP, I cannot find the pdf guides for CMIS install, configuration and administration guide.

Any experts know that?

What we plan to do is to

1) transfer a time slice from a sender to a receiver , both are 46C.

2) then upgrade the receiver to ECC6/EHP4.

At your link I cannot find guides to achieve above goal.

Where to find the related info?

Well CMIS is used for client transfer and obvioulsy a better solution , but your requirement is to reduce teh data first and then do the upgrade .

CMIS does a "logical transfer" of data in the application(s) like splitting out a sales group or a plant.

TDMS reduces all data (or of an organizational plant) for a specific 'from' time (so you can't say I want years 2008 and 2009 for example).

So you have to choose what suits better in your test environment.

CMIS and TDMS have different licenses, AFAIK can CMIS only used together with a partner and not alone.
