Post installation steps in Business package of Portfolio management 5.0

Hi All,

Recently we upgraded the business package with 5.0 from 4.5 for portfolio management in sap portal, still we are suspecting that the contents of bp for 5.0 not been updated with related to 5.0 version.

Please let us know what are the post installation steps we need to follow in portal end and SAP backend.

Currently we are getting an error while accessing the Portfolio management from sap portal. the error is as follows.

Error

Errorfailed to create or init instance of model 'com.sap.xapps.cprxrpm.spmodel.RPMSPModel' in scope APPLICATION_SCOPE with instanceId 'null'

Forwarding to your start page 'com.sap.pct.cprxrpm.port_hidden/com.sap.pct.cprxrpm.item_dash_alv'...Link '0100'

Please help us to resolve this issue then it would be great help to us.

Hi,

in addition: please also make sure your users have the 5.0 porztal role assigned (and not the 4.5 portal roles, please unassign them). 5.0 role: com.sap.pct.plm.ppm.port_prj_mgmt_showcase

Thanks for your reply.

We have done the same as you mentioned and the fucntionallity is working for Portfolio managmeent for 5.0 business package content.

And we are getting one more error when we are acessing the portfoilio line items as mentioned below.

Please get back to me the solution about the same.

I am experiencing the same problem with ID can only contain character string?

Have you resovled the problem ?
