R/3 4.6c to ECC 6.04 upgrade with classical RE

Hello,

Is it a mandatory step to use flexible RE (RE-FX) when upgrading from R/3 4.6c to ECC 6.04 or the classical RE (RE) is still available to use after upgrading?

Hi Adina,

you can continue using RE Classic also after upgrade to ECC 6.04. Please refer to note [443311|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/443311] where the details about availability and maintenance of classic Real Estate are described.
