Difference b/w delivery, shipment and Transportation

Hi,

can any one explain the difference b/w delivery, shipment and Transportation? along with t.codes

Shipment and Transportation are same. Or you can say Transportation is a process where you create shipment documents (shipment document and shipment cost doc.).

Delivery is different. Delivery is a document (a basis for all shipment activities) while Delivery Processing Involves - Delivery Document Creation, Packing, Picking, HU management, Batch/Serial Nos. management, PGI, etc.

First Delivery document is created and then shipment document is created w.r.t. the delivery. So think Order-> Delivery-> billing is the main flow. Transportation process is branched out from delivery.
