CUP-LDAP User Authentication-Password Mapping

Hi Forum,

I configured LDAP- Active Directory connection successfully and mapped

the AE fields with LDAP fields.

Is it possible to login to CUP with Userid and Password, Authenticated

by LDAP server.

It is allowing to login to CUP only if the user id is existing in SAP

UME.

How can i login to CUP with User ID and PW authenticated from LDAP,

which is not existing in SAP UME.

Please find screen shots for configuration LDAP.

Is there any possiblity to map Password fields of CUP and LDAP systems.

Plese provide any suggestions ASAP.

Move you user source for the UME to LDAP instead shouldnt that resove your problem.

I changed User Authentication source and User Data source UME to LDAP in CUP.

UME user source means..Is i need to change data source in User Management of AS JAVA.

If yes, can you suggest any docs for Integration LDAP-Active Directory Server with UME.
