Hi,
We were integrating cProjects with ECC, and planning cost in cProjects against projects. When we push the cost to project system (through accounting integration) and run the Ad Hoc Cost Estimate via transaction CKECPCP, we were getting an error stating Cost element XXXXXX is not assigned to a cost component. I fixed this error by assigning cost component to cost element in transaction OKTZ.
My question is, why is system is expecting for a cost element assignment to a cost component even for planned cost? I expect to see this error for actual cost, but why this is happening even for planned cost. Appreciate your input.
