Wireless Connectivity to SAP from the handheld

Hello all;

I have a ITSmobile application to run from a handheld, but we are having problems connecting the handheld to the SAP system. Below is the scenario (OS is Windows Mobile 5.0)

1. The ICF Service address already is configure in the handheld.

2. The handheld recognize and connect to the wireless network.

3. The device can connect to a particular www (e.g. www.google.com), but not to the ICF Service address provided

4. Added the proxy server configuration to the handheld

5. Got the Log on screen for the ITSmobile application, but when trying to log in we receive "server cannot be reached - #404'.

Please advise what piece of information is missing in order to reach the SAP system.

Hello Eric,

It sounds like a problem with your proxy, not the mobile device. Please use the same proxy on a desktop and try to access the same URL. Is it possible to logon and see the transaction screens?

I would say that the first step is to check the ITSmobile wiki [here|https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/HOME/ITSmobile].

Please check the sample applications, etc. Then provide us with your feedback.
