Reservation split

Hi gurus

We are on SRM 7, if we customize the system to create reservation if available material in stock, what happens if there is partial stock for a certain Shopping Cart?

Example:

SC generated for Qty 100 pc.

For the delivery date there is 70 pc in stock

What is the following document? We expect that the system generates 70 pc in a reservation and 30 pc will go to the Sourcing Cockpit. Is this the standard behaviour?

Hi Ezequiel,

If you configure your system to create reservation in case of available stock, the system will create reservation only when the entire quantity of your shopping cart is available in stock. It will not split the quantity as mentioned by you.

You can follow the workaround as below. In the shopping cart itself, you can check the availability of the stock and reduce the qunaitity of the shopping cart to available quanitity. For remaining quantity, you can create a new shopping cart which will end up in sourcing cockpit or purchase request.
