Mass Update Custom Fields

I'm new to this community and SAP as well so any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. I need to perform a mass update of a custom field but when I try to do it through the Mass Maintenance transaction it doesn't give me an option to choose any custom fields. Do you know how this can be done?

Hi,

data of customer fields are stored in table CRMD_CUSTOMER_H.

You could do an mass update by changing this table using a self developed report.

Thank you for the response.

The field is actually a custom checkbox field indicating inactive and active EAN numbers. I need to delete all of the inactive ones. So I can create a table using transaction SE11 and deleting the inactive EAN's directly from that.

Again, thanks for your help. I'm new to this and my company doesn't know much about this system either. I don't even have access to transaction SE11 yet. I have to request it.
