Not getting Acknoweldgement from MDM

Hi,

I just tried to send IDOC from RTE to MDM but they have failed with the following message:

Message could not be forwarded to the JCA adapter. Reason: Permanent error: Adapter call failed. Reason: com.sap.aii.af.lib.ra.cci.XIAdapterException: System error: MDM port not found.

Actually its a Data Extraction process from R3 to MDM, IDoc triggered from SAP and Pushed it in to PI, but while PI pushing XML file to MDM facing the Above error.

What may be the problem ? how we get ACK from MDM to PI?

Currently I don't see how "acknowledgements" fits in this exception. However, it seems the MDM adapter is not able to find the correct Inbound port on MDM. Check the inbound port on the MDM for the Import Server to import the file (XML is sent to a folder, and then the mdm adapter triggers a message through the API to have IS to work).

Also, try performing a test. Manually copy the file into the Import MANAGER configured Inbound port and try executing the import. Does it work?

which adapter you are using on receiver side.. I mean the scenario is IDOC to ?
