How to consume a BAPI in VC CE 7.1

Hi All,

I want to consume a BAPI which is defined in SAP R3. So I want to know how to connect SAP R3 and Visual Composer.

Could any one suggest a simple way to do the same..??

Hi,

1. Create a RFC destination (http://<yourportal url>:port/nwa) in your portal pointing it to your R/3 system.

2. This system will appear in your VC. seach component select step 1 system and search for bapi.

3. drag and drop your bapi from search results.

I have hte same problem (System Alias not visible to VC desgin time) and tried to create an RFC Destination in NWA.

However, the "Hosting System" field only show "Local Java System" and I cannot select any R3 machine, any help ?
