To implement Alerter like functionality in Universe Object

Hi All,

I have user requirement as below,

While we drag the object on report if the object is negative it should be shown in Red font.

This is something like Alerter in Webi report however user does not want to create alter on each report rather to have same function in Universe.

Hint: We can use the object format

Right click the object in Object Pane> below object Propeties we can find Object Format,

I m not able to use color code in Number -> Category -> Condition

Bo Version : Bo Xi 3.1

Any help appreciated

You can add the color code [Red].

For example #,##0.00[Red]

Thanks for your quick reply,

However it didnt solve the issue , I tried as below :

1. Go to Universe Object -> Right Click-> Object Format ->

2. Go to Number tab

3. Select category as Condition

4. In text box for -ve enter #,##0.00Red

5. Export universe

6. Use the object in Webi report

It displays the number concatenated with String Red .

Please let me know if i am missing any step

You should put

[RED]

in closed braces.

Seems, because of the formatting it got disappeared in the previous messae.
